Dimensional and Meridian both use the word Signature. Here is what differs underneath it.

Both products use the word Signature. The overlap is naming, not architecture.

Dimensional's Signature

Dimensional builds a personality picture from serial self-report quizzes and input from friends. It is ongoing, social, and gamified. The Signature evolves as you and your circle answer more questions. Strength: tracking traits over time with people who know you. Tradeoff: the picture reflects what you and others report on quiz days.

Meridian's Signature

Meridian's Signature block is a convergence artifact. Fixed inputs (birth data, name, family years, geography) pass through independent interpretive lenses once. Axes appear only where multiple lenses agree strongly enough to label Full, Clear, or Working conviction.

There is no friend comparison layer, no repeat quizzing, no leaderboard. The Signature is stable for that intake snapshot until you order a new reading with changed inputs.

What each is good for

Choose Dimensional when you want a social, incremental trait map you refine with friends over months.

Choose Meridian when you want a single cross-tradition document with chronological context, forward arc, and sections written for your closest circle, held to a high bar for what appears at all.

Neither replaces the other. They answer different questions with different input models.

Test before you buy

Open the sample reading and read the Signature section alongside Why convergence beats a single interpretive lens. If you wanted ongoing quizzes, Meridian will feel too static. If you wanted one document to return to through a transition, Dimensional may feel too incremental.
